Onshore and Offshore 42'' Fixed Diameter Hole Opener, Enlarge Surface Hole
Fixed diameter hole opener is used for enlarging the surface hole which drilled by cone bit in advance, or connected above the cone bit. It applies to Onshore and offshore oilfield. It is used to reaming the wellbore what has been drilled by the big cone’s bit or used to connecting it to the drill bit and finish well drilling and reaming of hole.
The body is made up of mandrel and cone arms. The mandrel is made of tough heat treated alloy steel for maximum strength. The cone arms are welded on the mandrel, the integral mandrel and the cone arms adopt steel forging, it has the advantages of substance, dependable, high intensity.
The cone which can be changed unitized is installed on the cone arm. The different kinds of cones can enlarge all kinds of layer. Changing the cone is very easy and prompt, it can be finished on the drill floor by hand tool, and there is no need to use gas cutting or electric welding.
The six oriented spray heads which are fitted with replaceable nozzle can clean the bored well and also can lasting the cone’s life. The nozzles are fixed with snap ring or purpose-made pressure cap; it can be changed very fast and convenient.
The types of the cone:
The fixed diameter hole opener equipped with steel tooth cone with sealed bearing or tungsten carbide tooth cone.
Type “SM” is used for soft to medium formation;
Type “MH” is used for medium to hard formation;
Type “XH” is used for hard formation.
